ERIKA HOVLAND NAMED ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
DURING 12th ANNUAL STEVIE® AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS
PHILADELPHIA, PA – NOV. 16, 2015 – Erika Hovland, founder of IOLITE Global Consulting was awarded a Silver Award for the Business Services with ten or fewer employees category in the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 13. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries attended.
More than 1,400 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women-Run Workplace of the Year.

More than 120 business professionals worldwide chose finalists during preliminary judging. Members of five final judging committees determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists.

While working for a Fortune 200 company, she assisted in the growth of a product that reached more than $2 billion in annual sales. Erika has received top tier awards for excellence in marketing, and led a team to reach sales of more than $500 million.
She is also an adjunct professor of undergraduate courses in marketing at Temple University. She has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University.
