Here’s an excerpt:

What does being a business owner mean to you …?
Being a business owner means making a huge impact – I help people see things that they don’t, or think differently about a problem or opportunity. As a result, I’m in the business of transforming businesses. I act as a strategist and educator, and frequently work with clients to ‘walk the bridge’ between strategy and execution. It’s a big responsibility, and I appreciate the level of trust my clients invest in me.

What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
A few months ago, one of my clients told me that I had a way of pointing out what needed to be changed without making her feel judged, and as a result, it opened up a way to grow. This ability to unlock growth – personal or professional – has been a skill I’ve sought to hone. I’ve had successful results from a financial perspective, such as growing a brand to more than $500 million, and results from coaching someone to view herself as a “business owner.” The personal fulfillment really comes from the satisfaction of aiding in the transformation someone desires as a goal.

What is the Number One Business Goal you plan to accomplish over the next year?
I plan to begin speaking and develop programs that can be implemented to help people unlock growth. Additionally, I’d like to begin working with a bigger team – I crave water cooler conversation, collaborative discussions over coffee and working day-to-day with a high-performing team.
